You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Jessica!
This beautiful young lady is as sweet as they come. Jessica arrived at the shelter as a stray, so her past is a bit of a mystery—but what we do know is that she has a heart full of love to give. We believe she may be a mix of Labrador Retriever, Husky, and German Shepherd, giving her both brains and beauty.
Jessica is incredibly affectionate and thrives on human connection. She absolutely melts for belly rubs and will happily roll over to soak up all the love you’re willing to give. She also enjoys getting out and exploring the world—long walks are one of her favorite things, and she’ll make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys staying active.
With her gentle nature and loving personality, Jessica is ready to find a forever home where she can continue to shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet companion to join you on adventures and cuddle up with at the end of the day, Jessica might just be your perfect match.

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
