You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Peter – Handsome, Happy, and Full of Puppy Charm!
Peter is the kind of puppy who can brighten anyone’s day with his wagging tail and playful spirit. This handsome mixed-breed boy, likely a Pointer/Hound mix, loves exploring, playing with toys, and making new friends. He’s got the perfect combination of curiosity, sweetness, and goofy puppy energy.
Peter is still just a baby, which means he has lots to learn! His future family should be prepared for house training, teaching good manners, daily exercise, and continued socialization as he grows. Puppies are a big commitment, but the reward is a lifelong companion who will love you unconditionally.

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
